1. What type of customer should choose the CXE80C?
The CXE80C suits organizations that need to keep running existing Windows applications, USB equipment or a validated N2930 system image — for example, replacing an aging N2930 tablet without redeveloping the software around it.
2. Is the N2930 a quad-core processor?
Yes, four cores and four threads, up to 2.16GHz burst frequency.
3. Is the CXE80C suitable for a new, internet-connected project?
It can be used in new deployments, but for internet-connected systems we recommend also considering OS support lifecycle and cybersecurity needs — a newer Windows 11 or Linux platform may be a better fit for greenfield projects.
4. Can the CXE80C run Linux?
Yes, Ubuntu or CentOS are available as project configurations — we'll help confirm driver support for touch, Wi-Fi, 4G, GNSS and any optional modules before production.
5. What is the standard memory and storage configuration?
4GB DDR3L RAM with a 64GB mSATA SSD. 8GB RAM and SSD capacities up to 1TB are available as options.
6. Is 64GB enough storage for Windows?
It works well for a tightly controlled image running one dedicated application.
7. Does the CXE80C have Gigabit Ethernet?
Yes, one Gigabit RJ45 port is included.
8. Does it include 4G?
No, a PCIe-based 4G module is optional — let us know your target region/carrier so we can confirm the right modem and bands.
9. Is a barcode scanner included?
No, a 1D/2D scanner is available as an option — let us know your barcode formats and required reading distance so we can recommend the right module.
10. Does the standard product include a camera?
No standard camera. An optional rear USB camera (5MP or 13MP) can be added; there is no front camera option.
11. Is the battery removable?
The standard and optional (8000mAh) batteries are both built in rather than user-removable or hot-swappable.
12. Is the CXE80C IP67 or IP68 rated?
No, it's rated IP65.
13. Is the CXE80C MIL-STD-810H certified?
It's rated to MIL-STD-810G rather than 810H — contact us for the specific test methods covered if you need that detail for procurement documentation.
14. Does it support 9–24V wide-voltage input?
No — the standard power input is 19V/3.5A via the included adapter.
