The A10ST-MT6771 keeps a proven platform in production: MT6771 octa-core, Android 10, IP68, and the full port set — RS232 on DB9, 100M Ethernet, Micro HDMI and a 12-pin POGO connector. It's the model we recommend when your existing software is certified on Android 10, or when you're replacing units in an MT6771 fleet and can't afford to re-validate everything. New projects without that constraint should start with the MT8781 or MT6877 versions instead.

The MT6771 runs four Cortex-A73 and four Cortex-A53 cores, all at up to 2.0GHz — a 2019-era platform, and that's the point. It's stable, field-proven, and its BSP (board support package) has been through years of industrial debugging. It handles data entry, warehouse apps, serial communication, scan middleware and browser-based business systems without drama. What it won't give you is headroom: no PD fast charging, Bluetooth 4.2 rather than 5.x, and an older Android base. Size your software to the platform, not the other way round.

Frequently Asked Questions About the A10ST MT6771 Android Industrial Tablet
1. Who is the A10ST-MT6771 for?
Existing deployments, mostly. If your industrial software is certified on Android 10, or you're replacing units in an MT6771-based fleet, this model lets you swap hardware without re-validating your software stack. For a new project with no legacy constraint, start with our MT8781 or MT6877 models instead.
2. Which display resolutions are available?
1280×800 and 1920×1200. Tell us which one your software was laid out for — resolution changes can break old app UIs, which is exactly the kind of re-validation this model exists to avoid.
3. Is the battery removable? Can it be hot-swapped?
Neither. The 10,000mAh pack is built in and sealed. A 20,000mAh version exists as a customized battery enclosure. If you need mid-shift battery swaps, the A10STX MT6771 (same platform, 15,400mAh removable, IP67) is the one to look at.
4. What are this platform's limits?
Two worth knowing up front: Bluetooth is 4.2 BLE, not 5.x; and the Type-C port doesn't do PD fast charging. If either matters to your deployment, the MT6769 version adds both.
5. Which ports come standard?
A native RS232 on DB9 (not a USB adapter), 100M RJ45 Ethernet, Micro HDMI, USB 2.0 Type-C with OTG, USB 2.0 Type-A, 3.5mm audio, Micro SIM and a TF slot up to 256GB. The Ethernet port is 100M, not Gigabit.
6. What data-capture modules can be added?
NFC is standard. Options: N1 or N670 1D/2D scan engines, UHF RFID in 3m, 5m or 15m builds, and fingerprint readers in industrial or certified tiers. On the 15m UHF figure: that's the module's ceiling, not a guarantee. Real range depends on the tag, antenna and environment, so we'll want to know your tag type before confirming a build.
7. Is it really IP68?
Yes, with the sealed built-in battery. Custom modules can change the sealing — if your build includes a scanner or RFID, ask for the test report covering that exact configuration.
