The A10ST-MT6769 is the full-I/O 4G variant of our 10.1-inch IP68 tablet, running Android 16 on MediaTek's MT6769 with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. "Full I/O" means the ports most tablets have dropped are all here at once: RS232 on DB9, 100M Ethernet, a 12-pin POGO connector and Micro HDMI. The MT6769 pairs two Cortex-A75 cores (up to 2.0GHz) with six Cortex-A55 cores: the big cores run the app in front of the operator, the small ones handle background sync and polling. That's the right balance for the workloads this tablet actually sees — warehouse management clients, scan and RFID middleware, work-order platforms, mapping and vehicle software — without the heat or price of a flagship chip. 1. What is the A10ST-MT6769 designed for?
Warehouse data collection, equipment maintenance, field service and vehicle-mounted work — jobs that need a 10.1-inch Android tablet with real ports, not a consumer device in a rubber case. The "full I/O" in the spec sheet means RS232, RJ45, POGO pins and Micro HDMI are all on board at once.
2. What processor does it use?
MediaTek's MT6769: two Cortex-A75 cores at up to 2.0GHz, six Cortex-A55 for background tasks. It runs WMS clients, scan middleware, work-order apps and mapping software comfortably. For CAD, video or heavy multitasking, look at our MT8781 models instead.
3. What memory, storage and display does it have?
The standard build is 4GB RAM + 64GB storage with a 1280×800 panel at 700 nits; a 1,000-nit version is available for outdoor sites. The touchscreen works with medical rubber gloves and wet hands. One honest note: 700 nits improves outdoor readability but doesn't guarantee it — if your crew works in direct sun, ask for a sample and test it on site.
4. How long does the battery last? Can it be swapped?
> The built-in 10,000mAh pack is rated for 10+ hours of typical use and charges over Type-C PD. It's sealed in. A 20,000mAh custom pack exists for projects that need more capacity, but if you need batteries you can swap mid-shift, the A10STX MT6769 (same chip, 15,400mAh removable, IP67) is the better fit.
5. What positioning and data-capture options does it support?
GPS is standard, with Galileo and GLONASS available; RTK is a project option for centimetre-level work. NFC is built in (ISO 14443A/B and ISO 15693). Beyond that: N1 or N670 1D/2D scan engines, UHF RFID in 3m, 5m or 15m read-range builds, a 125kHz LF reader good for 1–3cm, and three fingerprint tiers — industrial, public-security certified, or FBI certified. Not every module combination fits at once, so send your list with the RFQ and we'll confirm.
6. Which ports come standard?
RS232 on DB9, 100M RJ45 Ethernet, USB 2.0 Type-C with OTG and PD charging, USB 2.0 Type-A, 3.5mm audio, Micro HDMI, a Micro SIM slot and a TF slot (up to 256GB). The Type-C port doesn't output video — external displays go through Micro HDMI.
7. Is it really IP68?
Yes, with a sealed enclosure and built-in battery. Custom modules can change the sealing, so if your build includes a scanner or RFID, ask for the test report covering that exact configuration.
8. What optional accessories are available?
