1. What platform does the A109ST run on?

Android 16 on MediaTek's MT8781: two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz for heavy lifting, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz for everything else. WMS apps, scan middleware and browser-based work orders all run smoothly on it. If your workload involves CAD or video processing, this isn't the chipset for that.

2. Can the barcode scanner and night-vision camera be installed together?

No. The 1D/2D scan engine and the 20MP low-light night-vision module share the same expansion position, so each unit carries one or the other. If your project genuinely needs both, tell us before ordering — the enclosure layout has to be planned around it.

3. Which industrial interfaces does it have?

USB Type-C, two USB Type-A ports, a DB9 serial port, HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, a 19V DC input and a 14-pin POGO connector. The serial port is RS232 by default; if you need RS422 or RS485, specify it on the order. It's a factory configuration, not something you can swap in the field.

4. Can UHF RFID, fingerprint and ID card modules be combined?

Often, but not always. Enclosure space and antenna placement set the limit. Send us your module list before ordering and we'll confirm the combination in writing — including whether that specific build keeps its IP67 rating.

5. Is the A109ST rated IP67 or IP68?

IP67: dust-tight, and fine with rain, splashes and a brief dip to 1 metre, but not continuous submersion. If your site genuinely calls for IP68, look at the A10ST or A80ST instead — same module options, sealed-battery design. The trade-off is that their 10,000mAh batteries are built in, while the A109ST's 20,000mAh pack swaps out in seconds, which matters more on double shifts than the extra ingress rating usually does.
