The CENAVA W15US is a 15.6-inch rugged IP65 industrial laptop designed for field engineering, equipment commissioning, maintenance documentation and mobile data collection in demanding industrial environments. It combines the Intel Core 3 processor 304 with Windows 11, 16GB DDR5 memory, a 256GB M.2 SSD, hot-swappable battery power, dual 2.5GbE Ethernet, RS232 serial and four USB-A 3.0 ports. The IP65-sealed chassis shrugs off dust, rain and drops that kill consumer laptops.

The W15US is a 15.6-inch IP65 field laptop for Windows data entry and drawing review, built on Intel's Core 3 304 (Core 5 320 optional).
2. How are the Core 3 304 cores arranged?
Intel defines 1 P-core and 4 Low Power E-cores. The total is 5 cores with 5 threads. Intel Smart Cache is 6MB.
3. Does every core run at 4.3GHz?
No. 4.3GHz is the P-core's maximum turbo; the four efficiency cores reach 3.3GHz. Neither figure is a constant all-core speed.
4. What changes with the Core 5 320 option?
The optional 320 has 6 cores and 6 threads. Maximum turbo frequency reaches 4.6GHz. We use a repeated application test to judge the practical difference.
5. Which memory and storage configurations are available?
8GB or 16GB RAM; 128GB or 256GB M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSD standard, expandable to 2TB on approved builds.
6. Is Ubuntu 22.04.5 a standard operating system?
Windows 11 Pro is the standard image. Ubuntu 25.04 is available as a project build with its own validated driver set.
7. Is the USB-C port Thunderbolt 4?
No. The port provides 10Gbps data, DisplayPort video and 100W PD input. The spec sheet's "Thunderbolt" wording refers to connector class only; Thunderbolt 4 certification (40Gbps) is not claimed.
8. Which network connections are built in?
Two adaptive 2.5GbE ports are built into W15US. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle local wireless links. Cellular hardware is optional.
9. Are RS422 and RS485 standard?
No. DB9 RS232 is the standard description. RS422 or RS485 requires a project wiring definition with its own pinout.
10. Which battery is user-removable?
The 5100mAh main pack swaps out; the 2100mAh bridge battery is built in and keeps the system alive during the swap.
11. Does one 4G or 5G module work worldwide?
No universal modem configuration is assumed. We choose hardware for the destination country and attach its Band table to the order.
12. What does IP65 cover?
IP65 addresses dust ingress and water jets under a defined enclosure test. It does not establish drop resistance or explosion protection.
