The CENAVA A10STX-5G is built for field teams that need to collect, verify and transmit data without returning to a workstation. It combines an MT6877 octa-core platform, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and a 10.1-inch 1920 × 1200 display with a removable 15,400mAh battery. The A10STX-5G is the field-battery variant of our 10.1-inch 5G tablet. It runs the same MT6877 platform as the A10ST-5G — 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, multi-constellation GNSS — but swaps the sealed 10,000mAh pack for a removable 15,400mAh one. The trade is explicit: you give up IP68 for IP67, and you gain mid-shift battery swaps. Barcode scanning, UHF/LF RFID, ID-card reading and centimetre-level RTK are factory options.
At roughly 1,267g and 33.9mm thick, this is not a slim device. It earns its keep mounted, docked or strapped: warehouse receiving with scanning and UHF, utility inspection with RTK, vehicle dispatch over RS232 or Ethernet, healthcare and lab work that needs glove touch. 3. What platform does it run on?
MediaTek MT6877 — two Cortex-A78 cores at up to 2.4GHz, six Cortex-A55 at 2.0GHz — with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage as standard; 8GB+256GB is optional. Android 12 ships by default, with Android 15 as a factory option.
4. What display options are available?
The standard panel is 1920×1200 IPS at 700 nits, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 (7H). A 1,000-nit high-brightness version is available for outdoor sites, and 1280×800 can be tooled for volume orders. As always with brightness: if readability is critical, test a sample in your actual sunlight.
5. Is the battery really removable, and what's the protection rating?
Yes — 15,400mAh, user-swappable, with an optional multi-battery charging dock. The rating is IP67: dust-tight and fine with rain and brief immersion. If your site requires IP68, that means a sealed battery — see the A10ST-5G.
6. Which ports come standard?
RS232 on DB9, 100M RJ45 Ethernet (not Gigabit), USB 2.0 Type-C with OTG and charging, USB 2.0 Type-A, 3.5mm audio, Micro SIM and a TF slot up to 256GB. Micro HDMI is a factory option, not standard.
7. What cameras are included?
An 8MP front camera and a 16MP autofocus rear camera with flash — enough for barcode-adjacent documentation and site photos. If you need scanning at production speed, that's the optional 2D engine's job, not the camera's.
8. Which accessories are available?
